200 Nipples is a site that offers signed limited edition t-shirts, a new one every two weeks. They really understand customer service.

I order a t-shirt a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I got a refund from Google payments. The message from 200 Nipples was "The XXL guy shirts are back ordered with our manufacturer (where we get our blanks). We hoped they’d be here by now, but we’re still waiting. I’ve refunded your shipping fee as a thanks for your patience. Thanks!"

This is truly fabulous customer service. I hadn’t even started to wonder where the t-shirt was, our mail delivery is so slow.

Thank you 200 Nipples.

Kim and Sara Souch - KiSara - of Egmondville, near Seaforth in Huron County, left on July 1st for a cross-county concert tour. They played in Parry Sound on Canada and then went to Sault Ste Marie and them on to Thunder Bay and are making their way to Vancouver.
If you have a chance to see them perform, go. I defy anyone to remain dry-eyed when Sara sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

I’m not really a conference person so for me to recommend a conference is a really big deal. Last week I was at the HICK Tech conference in Owen Sound. It was terrific. I’m definitely planning to go in 2009.

If you have any kind of involvement or interest in technology in the Grey Bruce Huron area you should seriously think about attending.

This is a leading edge conference – the workshops are a mix of agriculture and community, the food served is all local, the conference is carbon neutral. It’s a conference about technology, not a conference about the internet, although that’s part of it.

The conference is the brainchild of Emma Hogbin who has the energy of 10 people. She organized terrific workshops with speakers including Heather Champ for Flickr, Nora Young from the CBC, Glenn Estill from Sky Generation, Darryl Peddle from Yahoo, and Meg Pickard from the Guardian Unlimited.

I can’t wait to find out what Emma plans for next year.
