You sell it on ex Boyfriend Jewelry, a great website that also lets you vent about the bum.  I wish I’d thought of it! 

Obviously I’ve been involved with the wrong men – or am not sentimental enough about the jewelery they’ve given me.  No one has ever given me anything from Tiffany.  And I picked out the fabulous earrings my ex gave me, I love ‘em, I’m keeping them!

There’s some gorgeous stuff for sale on the site and the prices seem reasonable.    there are wedding dresses, lots of jewelery, a section called ‘it should have been jewelery’ that features lots of designer stuff.  A great place to shop online.  At least if you buy it for yourself you can keep it after you get rid of him.

If you have any kind of involvement or interest in technology in the Grey Bruce Huron area you should seriously think about attending.

This is a leading edge conference – the workshops are a mix of agriculture and community, the food served is all local, the conference is carbon neutral.  It’s a conference about technology, not a conference about the internet, although that’s part of it.

The conference is the brainchild of Emma Hogbin who has the energy of 10 people.  She organized terrific workshops with speakers including Heather Champ for Flickr, Nora Young from the CBC, Glenn Estill from Sky Generation, Darryl Peddle from Yahoo, and Meg Pickard from the Guardian Unlimited. 

I can’t wait to find out what Emma plans for next year.
